Is there any truth to the Illuminati Obama rumors? For starters, do you remember when there was great deal of buzz throughout the Internet about Obama’s patriotism? A number of sources made the claim that Obama is really Muslim, refuses to put his hand on the bible, refuses to wear an American flag lapel pin, and based on the video of an incident where, at a certain public event during the pledge of Allegiance, Obama refused to put his hand over his heart?
Here at TopSecretWriters, the focus is using hard evidence to identify the truth about any claim, regardless out outrageous the claim may sound. In addition to briefly providing evidence that refutes the stories above, I am going to take a very hard look at the truth (if any) behind the many online stories about the Illuminati and Obama.
Is Obama Unpatriotic?
First things first. The patriotism claims were strongest during the last election, when countless pundits were claiming that Obama was really a muslim, anti-american and unpatriotic. Apparently, Americans either didn’t buy it, or they didn’t care – because they voted the man into office. So how true were those particular claims? You can read more of the details about the no-hand-over-the-heart claim over at Snopes. Originally, when I first heard about this I thought it was possible it was just a snapshot taken moments before Obama does place his hand over his heart. This isn’t true. What is is an indication of how far some people are willing to go to smear someone. The following video thoroughly refutes all of the unpatriotic claims listed above.
I strongly suggest watching the entire video. It is only about five minutes, but it’s an enjoyable clip – assuming you aren’t a fanatic…otherwise you may not like the truth. My favorite part of the clip was at time mark 3:48 when a congressman sitting on a news show was deriding Obama for not wearing an American flag pin, while he, himself, was sitting there without such a pin. The hypocrisy was all the evidence needed to revealed him as part of a massive, sweeping smear campaign against Obama. And what about the no-hand-over-heart during the pledge claim?
Here’s the true story: The incident occurred during the singing of the national anthem. If you’ve ever been to a baseball game then you know that at least half of the people do not put their hand over their heart during that song. In fact, I’d say the majority of people don’t. What you’ll find when you watch the clip above, however, is that Obama was actually singing along with the Anthem. Isn’t it amazing what you learn when you take the time to actually research the rumors you hear?
The Illuminati and Obama Rumors
Now that the ludicrous rumors about Obama’s anti-patriotism are quelled, there’s still the matter of those rumors that claim a strong connection between the illuminati and Obama. Let’s take a closer look at those claims and see if there’s any evidence to support it. The first claim is that Obama and his wife are part of the Council on Foreign Relations, and the CFR’s logo is a naked man on horseback giving the illuminati “horns” hand sign. Many people also feel that the CFR’s mission is to erode the United States power throughout the world. Are these claims true?
Number One: You can find the Barack Obama page on the CFR site, and it’s certainly obvious that they admire the man for his beliefs and efforts in standing up for peace and diplomacy across the world. This page does prove that regardless whatever else is true or untrue, the Council on Foreign Relations stands firmly behind Barack Obama.
Number Two: The symbol of the CFR of a man giving the Illuminati “sign.” The first issue here is the fact that no one has ever really proven that the hand signal most conspiracy theorists point to is even any “official” Illuminati hand sign. However, I did take the time to find the CFR logo on their publication titled Foreign Affairs. I clipped the very small logo and blew it up 300%. Take a good, close look at the man on a horse. In particular, check out his hand.
What is very clear in this image is that the man’s hand is nothing at all like the touted Illuminati hand signal! The hand appendage pointed forward is clearly his thumb, and the part of his hand pointing upward are all of the rest of his fingers. This is a ridiculous claim and this image obviously lays it to rest.
Number Three: The claim that the CFR’s goal is to erode U.S. international interests. Let’s take a close look at the CFR’s actual stated mission statement.
The Council on Foreign Relations is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank, and publisher dedicated to being a resource for its members, government officials, business executives, journalists, educators and students, civic and religious leaders, and other interested citizens in order to help them better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries.
Founded in 1921, the Council takes no institutional positions on matters of policy.
One thing I did notice is that while the Council claims to take no position on matters of policy, most of their publications appear to promote the concept of peace and diplomacy around the world. Not exactly the message of an evil entity looking to take over the world – in my humble opinion.
In upcoming updates, I’m going to take a closer look at more of the claimed “evidence” to support the contention that there’s a connection between the Illuminati and Obama. If you know of some solid evidence that proves a connection, please include it in the comments section below!
