santahat2b1As I sit here on Christmas Eve, and the children are quietly watching Christmas specials while my wife bakes a batch of fragrant Christmas cookies for our small family celebration tonight, I can’t help but stop and contemplate the course of amazing events over the last few years of my life.

My Personal Path from American Lemming to a Seeker of Truth

There was a day, almost over a decade ago, where I lived life much like a majority of other westerners, content with letting the government take care of “National Security,” and trusting that we would always have safety, sufficient health care, appropriate public safety, justice and liberty. As for many Americans, events on September 11, 2001 changed my world view and I turned my eyes toward the world outside the borders of America. I wanted to know what the world truly thought of us, not what American media claims the world thinks.

What I discovered was nothing short of astonishing. I found that foreign media tells a much different story of the “news” than American media. This isn’t due to the state manipulations of media sources like in places like Iran or North Korea - these discrepancies are between U.S. sources and legitimate news sources in Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere. This discovery led me to the world of conspiracy theories and forums that discuss them. In the process, I met my colleague at Reality Uncovered, and the guy who became my very good friend Stephen Broadbent.

Through the years, what we’ve uncovered left my mind spinning in millions of directions. The world as we think we know it is not how it is. The things that we snicker at - the stories that we believe are dreamed up about secret societies, spy games, espionage and covert black government programs - many of those really are nothing more than scams. But the shocker is that there are a few that come from some story, legend or myth that’s founded in an ounce of truth. The problem is that you simply can’t find the truth on conspiracy theory websites or blogs - because they don’t follow the principles of documentation and evidence. Opinion and speculation rules the day, the the truth becomes even foggier than it ever was.

Moving Forward on TopSecretWriters

I’ve proudly watched as the readership here at Top Secret Writers continues to grow. Much of that pride comes from the fact that this blog started as nothing more than my personal musings about surreal and strange events, phenomenon and stories from around the world. The growing membership tells me that there are many other folks out there who, like me, are sick of living in a world that seems “off.” Folks who understand that there’s a larger truth that must explain some of the injustices that we see taking place in large corporations and throughout government. You see glimpses of the machinations and intuitively know there’s an underlying truth - but it remains hidden.

Here at Top Secret Writers, we will explore these waters together, and we will take control of our own national security once again. No longer will we allow others to define what constitutes this nation’s national security.

I would like to wish each and every one of you a very merry Christmas and a happy holiday - and of course a wonderful and profitable New Year.
