Jim Melvin is, in essence, the spirit of a teen trapped in an adult body. A songwriter and musician at heart, his creative genes have been the driving force behind his journey to becoming a writer for Top Secret Writers.
Trained in Culinary Arts, with over a decade of experience under his belt, Jim is part of a management team working for a popular Atlantic Canadian resort on the “must see” Cape Breton Island. Although originally hailing from Maine, Jim now resides in scenic Nova Scotia with his wife and daughter.
Between busy periods, Jim spends his summers on the pebbled beaches of his new island home and winters in various recording studios. He’s quietly named himself a “Politically loaded, independent conspiracy theorist”, and has always had a fascination with the socially plausible. These quirky characteristics usually bring his curiosity to the forefront of most controversial issues, and he is usually ready to tackle them with vigour.
