Four Boston Bombing Conspiracies That Just Won’t Die
Almost immediately after the two bombs had been detonated near the finishing line of the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, killing three people and injuring several hundred more, rumours and speculation began to fill the internet. Many of the swathes of conspiracy theories related to this shocking terror attack are still in circulation today, refusing to disappear.

Here are four Boston Bombing conspiracies that just won’t die.

Boston Bombing suspects became US citizens on 9/11

One (1) such rumor postulated the irony – or perhaps the intention – that the Boston bombers, brothers Dzhokar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, had become naturalized citizens of the United States on 9/11, marking the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

Boston Bombings were a false flag attack

Speculation that the Boston bombings was a ‘false flag’ attack was ignited by Dan Bidondi of the ‘alternative news’ site Infowars. During a nationally televised press statement, Bidondi posed the question:

“Is this another false flag staged attack to take our civil liberties and promote homeland security while sticking their hands down our pants on the streets?”

The (2) ‘false flag’ concept describes a self-attack, which is pinned on an enemy, typically to justify escalating government power.

By putting forward the suggestion that the Boston Bombings was a false flag attack, Bidondi is of the belief, and wants others to be of a similar belief, that the US government is deliberately orchestrating deadly attacks to take away the civil liberties of its civilians.

Dan Bidondi is certainly not alone in maintaining the belief that the Boston Marathon Bombing was staged.

On the (3) Educate Yourself website, designed to empower the “freedom of knowledge and the power of thought,” the author describes the “indisputable photo evidence that the Boston Marathon Bombing was staged.”

The article notes alleged false flag evidence, describing how if someone loses both their legs from an explosion, half their blood escapes after just one minute, and after two minutes they are dead, suggesting that as this didn’t happen, the tragedy in Boston must have been staged.

The Educate Yourself article encourages reader to “scroll down and enjoy the pictures.”

“Read the contents carefully and then think about how even here in Canada, we are being sold completely, lies by the mainstream media in all its forms regarding this, one of the many ‘False Flags’ in order for the fascist regimes now controlling our governments to finally implement their decades old in the planning, Full Spectrum Dominance, New World Order,” wrote (4) Ron Tex of Canada, the author of the article.

Marathon organisers knew bombs were going to be detonated

Adding further fuel to the speculation that the tragedy in Boston in 2013 was staged is the popular theory that the event’s organizers knew about the attack.

This conspiracy theory is centred on the account of Alastair Stevenson, a runner in the Boston Marathon. Talking to, Stevenson said there was a bomb drill held before the marathon started.

“At the starting line this morning, they had bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad out there. They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were running a training exercise.”

Though as (5) The Guardian notes in its evaluation of the Boston Bombing conspiracy theories, this theory relies solely on the testimony of someone who experienced a highly traumatic event. Furthermore, having bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad present, and running a bomb drill at an event in which the organisers knew a bomb was going to be denoted, does not really make sense.

Despite these anomalies, as The Guardian writes, “many theorists are using it as a key piece of evidence.”

Boston Globe tweets about the bombing before it happens

Another, we must admit, intriguing conspiracy theory about the Boston Bombing, is the allegation that the Boston Globe tweeted that a ‘controlled explosion’ would be occurring on Boylston Street in Boston, which was the scene of the tragedy.

Storify (6) shed some logical light on the theory that the Boston Globe tweeted about the bombing before it even occurred, stating that as people tuned into Twitter’s streaming of the tragedy late, there was much confusion about the timing. To cut a long story short, the time zones between Boston and the West Coast, where the Boston Globe tweeted from, made it difficult for the order of events to unfold in a logical order and with real context.

Whenever a colossal disaster and calamity occurs, ‘alternative interpretations’ will inevitably rear their ugly heads. The internet and social media acts as a breeding ground, not only for conspiracy theories to circulate, but also to be sustained. The Boston Marathon Bombing of 2013 is no exception.

Well from my research, which had nothing at all to do with those charlatans at InfoWars, I have come to the conclusion that it was a false flag & the brothers had exactly nothing to do with it. There is literally zero evidence of their complicity, other than government narrative.
